Corey Goldberg was sentenced to the prison term, and he must forfeit $282,604 after pleading guilty to one count of distributing 50 grams or more of meth, two counts of distribution of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine, and one count of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing methamphetamine, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said.
Police began investigating Goldberg after some of his customers began selling meth they'd purchased from him to other people in August 2019, the prosecutor said. Goldberg sold crystal methamphetamines to cooperating witnesses on two occasions from his condominium during that time. When agents raided his condo, they found nearly 40 grams of 97 percent pure meth in his kitchen and 246 grams of 100 percent pure meth in his bedroom safe, federal authorities said.
